A new initiative named “Choose Canterbury” has been introduced to promote business growth in the historic city of Canterbury, located in Kent. This campaign is a strategic collaboration between the Canterbury City Council and Locate in Kent, designed to attract firms looking to establish or relocate within the region. Support will be provided to businesses in their quest for suitable premises, as well as assistance in accessing various grants and loans, enabling a smoother transition for relocating businesses.

In addition to aiding businesses, the campaign recognizes the importance of supporting employees and their families, ensuring that their move to Canterbury is as seamless as possible. The city is showcased as an attractive option for businesses due to its proximity to London, excellent transportation links, and access to the Channel and Thames Estuary, making it an appealing destination for investment.

Chris Cornell, the cabinet member responsible for economic development and inclusion, emphasized Canterbury’s unique advantages.
