Signature Living Officially Puts Shankly Hotel & 30 James Street Up For Sale.

Liverpool based hotelier Signature Living have put both The Shankly Hotel and 30 James Street on the market for a combined £51 million. The sale is aimed at funding further expansion plans for the group across the UK.

Both hotels were originally disused buildings and are now arguably Liverpool’s most popular hotels. The Shankly has 59 apart-hotel style bedrooms that is based upon the legendary Liverpool boss Bill Shankly, whilst 30 James Street features 63 nautical-themed rooms based around the White Star Line Shipping Company who once occupied the building.

Founder Lawrence Kenwright said ‘The hotels are huge tourism beacons in their own right, turning over incredible profits. The sale of both hotels will allow us to fuel major expansion plans.
