Restaurant Boss Brings A Taste Of Mexico To Cheshire Village
The hospitality sector has endured arguably its toughest time in history recently as a result of the pandemic, with the latest issue being a huge shortage in staff. However, in the Cheshire village of Bromborough one man is determined to go against the grain and has created a Mexican themed restaurant.
Pina Loca, or “crazy pineapple” as its name translates, is the brain child of Babul Miah, a name synonymous with the restaurant trade in The Wirral, Cheshire.
Pina Loca is set to open on Bromborough’s Allport Lane later this month. Situated at the site formerly occupied by McColl's convenience store, but best remembered by locals as Dillons Newsagents. Pina Loca plans to bring a slice of Latin flare to Bromborough with their take on Mexican classics as well as a mouth-watering choice of Mexican inspired small plates. Not to mention a wine and cocktail menu that will have you thinking you’re in Mexico!
Speaking about Pina Loca, Babul commented “I’m so excited to get the doors open and show Bromborough and the surrounding areas what we have to offer. The warm welcome we have received from the local community is amazing, we already feel part of the family and haven’t even opened the doors yet. The whole team have been working really hard for months to perfect our dishes and make sure that our drinks menu really hits the spot. We hope to open later this month if all goes to plan.”
Pina Loca are looking to employ chefs, bartenders and waiting on staff, in both full and part time roles, if you’d like to apply please send a copy of your CV to careers@pinaloca.co.uk
