#2 She Was Barack’s Mentor!

Michelle met Barack when he was a summer associate at the law firm she worked at - she was assigned to be his mentor! 

#3 Fiercely Tenacious From An Early Age

She was always determined to get the grades she deserved. According to her mother, Michelle once received an unfair grade in a typing class in high school. The teacher wouldn't change it, but Michelle wouldn't give up. And guess what? She got the A!

#4 Refuses To Play Scrabble

According to Barack, Michelle doesn't like to play Scrabble. Why? She's very competitive, he says, and "I usually beat her, and I tend to gloat.

#5 Her Book Was A Huge Success

Titled ‘Becoming’, her memoir was released in November 2018 and by March 2019 had sold over 10 million copies worldwide within 15 days it became the best selling book of the year.
