Local Businessman Jamie Lloyd Sponsors Heswall Golf Club’s Pro-Am Tournament

JLBM are the headline sponsors for Cheshire & Wirral’s Pro-Am golf tournament, taking place at Heswall Golf Club on 30/07/2021. Jamie Lloyd, CEO of JLBM, has worked to bring Liverpool’s Claire House Children's Hospice onboard as Heswall Golf Club's charity partner. Funds raised at the Pro-Am tournament will provide the hospice with welcome support.

Claire House, a hospice for terminally ill children, provides round the clock palliative care for youngsters across North Wales, Cheshire and the Wirral. They also provide vital support and respite for the parents, friends and family of the children in their care.

Gillian Nove, Director of Income Generation at the hospice, said: "It has been quite a challenging time for us at Claire House throughout the pandemic, as it has for many charities. Unfortunately, it looks as though our fundraising income will be down by about £1 million this year. It couldn’t be helped, but the restrictions brought about by Covid have meant that events, community and corporate income specifically have taken a real hit”.

Jamie Lloyd, CEO of JLBM, said: “We all know that Claire House goes above and beyond with the services they provide to seriously ill children and their families. Claire House needs funds to refurbish their hydrotherapy pool, buy specialist ‘Cuddle Beds' and provide their amazing nurses with much need tablets and up to date equipment etc. Myself, my staff and Heswall Golf Club are simply throwing our hats in with the many others that take the time to raise funds for Claire House, and it’s our pleasure”.

Heswall Golf Club's Pro-Am Tournament takes place on 30/07/2021 at Heswall Golf Club, Cottage Lane, Wirral CH60 8PB. It will be a shotgun start beginning at 10.30 am. The entry fee is £300 per team of four made up of three amateurs and one professional. Total prize fund £950.
