ESE Solar Named Installer Of The Year
Established in 2015, ESE Solar are a prominent figure within the solar sector and were recently crowned ‘Installer of the year’ by Infinity Innovations, one of the largest green energy suppliers in the UK.
ESE Solar enjoyed a record-breaking year in 2023, a year in which they also partnered with Rowan Energy, a deal which means ESE Solar are the exclusive distributor for their revolutionary carbon offset monitor device that pays customers 10 pence per kWh for everything they generate and has allowed ESE so sell hundreds so far.
Since the partnership began, ESE Solar have seen their sales increase by 20%, this figure is set to double over the first half of 2024, especially as all new customers purchasing solar through ESE get carbon offset monitors included with their systems free of charge. Unsurprisingly, the first batch sold out even before they were produced and this has occurred with every batch since.
ESE solar have over 3,800 reviews on Trustpilot and numerous offices around the country, both factors have played major parts when rolling out such a new concept. Similarly, Rowan Energy are no slouches when it comes to fulfilling their side of the bargain, in 2021 Rowan were named Most Promising Green Energy Company and their founder David Duckworth has a wealth of experience when it comes to technology. David worked in network security for large banks such as Barclays and law firms such as Eversheds to protect their networks from attackers and now has a team around him who all share the same goal when it comes to green energy solutions that benefit the environment and customers alike. Now he finds himself at the forefront of the green energy sector alongside ESE solar at the beginning of what promises to be another record year.
A recent report in the Guardian reported that the number of households and businesses installing rooftop solar panels has reached its highest level in 12 years in 2023 with almost 190,000 solar installations happening across the UK, interestingly this is the he highest level since the government slashed its subsidy scheme in late 2011.
Furthermore, the UK Government recently announced plans to facilitate the installation of solar panels on listed buildings, at present certain energy upgrades necessitate planning permission, listed building consent, or neither which has become a large obstruction for the UK’s plan to increase its green energy initiatives.
Chris Hewett, Chief Executive of the trade association Solar Energy UK, said “It is plain to see that there is far too much bureaucracy getting in the way of installing solar panels and other energy upgrades, where they can be done in an appropriate and respectful fashion, on England’s older buildings.
“So I am glad to see that the government is pushing forward with making the confusing series of existing rules clearer, while easing them in the longer term.”
The publics healthy appetite for solar coupled with the governments flexibility means plenty of fresh opportunities for ESE Solar to cement itself as the market leader for solar across the UK.
